I often say I don’t work for VAA, or own VAA, I work with VAA. I remind myself about that as I commute by bike to the office and take great pride in the team culture we’ve created. It’s a great ride.

Dave climbs mountains, literally. He knows about setting goals and how to meet them. It’s about having the discipline and drive but enjoying the process to accomplish it. Dave takes the same initiative at VAA with the meticulous oversight he provides on industrial, port and grain handling facilities, to developing lasting client relationships.
A former Cargill facility operator, Dave offers a valuable insider perspective, helping his team understand the challenges faced by clients and in turn engineer better, innovative solutions. Dave has witnessed the evolution of a facility as a facet in the agriculture chain to an industrial facility concerned with how to load grain in a rail car faster to OSHA, NFPA standards and Hazard Communications.
Dave is an active member of GEAPS and committed to the growth of VAA employees and the industry as a whole. He is part of the growth within VAA as the firm harnessed its diversity into markets, staff abilities and service offerings to clients.
