To some, a live concert is the epitome of listening to music – the venue, crowd energy and shared experience with friends make it exhilarating. A self-professed music junky having seen over 150 artists in the last 10 years, Brian is an engineering front man bringing out the best performance of his team and leaves a memorable impression of VAA with clients.
With a natural aptitude for numbers and insatiable curiosity to ask “why,” his problem-solving mindset is evident in equipment layout and the design of material handling facilities, including grain, food processing, seed, minerals and other heavy industrial processes. Brian is often involved in overseeing submarket growth and identifies where VAA’s resources can flourish. He also orchestrates initiatives for improving communication and documentation in project management and team dynamics corporate wide. Actively involved in the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS), Brian supports industry efforts through his role in the local chapter of GEAPS and as a familiar face at VAA’s Agribusiness trade shows.
Brian brings his work hard, play hard mentality to the office every day where the "people first" culture is the punctuation mark to VAA's responsive reputation. He takes notable pride in making VAA what it is today by contributing industry knowledge, a team philosophy and value to clients beyond design.
