VAA COVID-19 Response

Valued Clients and Partners, 

Like many organizations, VAA is closely monitoring the situation related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Minnesota, nationwide and globally. As an organization that serves clients with facilities across the United States and internationally, the safety of VAA employees, our clients and partners continue to be a priority.

In response to the current developments surrounding COVID-19, VAA has established the following practices.

  • We continue to monitor and follow the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, state and federal agencies regarding COVID-19.
  • Employees are encouraged to work remotely when possible to minimize contact with others. Having significantly invested in our IT infrastructure over the years, employees can work efficiently while continuing to serve clients safely and securely.
  • We implemented the following travel restrictions:
    • International travel is cancelled at this time.
    • Domestic travel is restricted, unless deemed critical to on-going projects and approved by a VAA partner.
  • We requested employees to reduce face-to-face meetings and replace with web-based applications.
  • We requested employees to adhere to client and organization safety and health practices, as required.

VAA’s annual Return of the Egret Party typically hosted in spring has been postponed to fall 2020. No date has been determined at this time. This decision will be re-evaluated as development occurs with COVID-19.

The COVID-19 pandemic is a fluid situation and we will provide updates as necessary. Strong lasting relationships with our clients and partners has been the cornerstone of VAA from the beginning. Our intent is to create a safe work environment, limit disruptions, and work together to deliver on our project responsibilities.
